El Steen is a London-based DJ whose sound mashes up deeper techno and tech housewith the funk, vocals and warmth of house. Shaped by formative 90s and 00s club experiences at Turnmills, Bedrock, Lost and many nights out listening to the DJs that have shaped modern dance music, his sets draw on decades of curation while remaining firmly rooted in the present.

El Steen’s approach focuses on flow, musical storytelling, and bridging between genres, creating journeys that translate underground energy into sets that work on real dancefloors, both banging and soulful. He has played at private and club events across London, including Grow Hackney (Grassroots Groove) and Basing House, and has also performed internationally, including an Ibiza Boat Party (5* Boat Parties Ibiza, organised in collaboration with LSA) and private events in NYC, Ibiza and Singapore.

He is currently resident DJ for a regular comedy and music night in London, with a new club night launching in 2026. His ongoing mix series, Mash-Up Mayhem, showcases his signature sound: bass-driven, groove-led and unapologetically musical.
