Alishan Milky Oolong – Pure Jin Xuan Cultivar
 
Often copied but rarely matched, Alishan Milky Oolong is the authentic expression of Taiwan’s celebrated Jin Xuan cultivar (Taiwan Cultivar #12).
Developed in the 1980s by the Taiwanese Tea Research and Extension Centre, Jin Xuan is naturally rich in lactones — the aromatic compounds that give this tea its distinctive creamy, milky character.
 
Cultivated in the mist-covered highlands of Alishan, this tea reveals a delicate balance between smooth, buttery texture and the bright, green freshness of high-mountain oolong. Its soft creaminess unfolds gently across multiple infusions, leaving a clean, lasting finish.
 
Unlike the artificially scented “milk oolongs” found on the market, this is a pure, unscented Jin Xuan. No added flavours, no steaming with milk — just nature’s own craftsmanship in a cup.
